Legal
Terms of use
Effective date: September 5, 2026. These terms govern your access to and use of Paravow Network ("Paravow," "we," "us"). By using the service, you agree to them. Have qualified legal counsel review these terms for your jurisdiction before a broad public launch.
Agreement
If you do not agree to these terms or our Privacy policy, do not use Paravow Network.
The service
Paravow Network is a curated community where members can:
- Read reviewed lessons and field notes in a public archive.
- See who members acknowledge through roots and recognition boards.
- Browse selective collaboration and hiring asks posted by members.
- Follow weekly digests summarizing activity on the network.
- Optionally sign in to publish stories, maintain a profile, acknowledge peers, share recognition cards, and express interest in opportunities.
We may add, change, or remove features. We may suspend or discontinue all or part of the service with notice where reasonably practical.
Reading without an account
Much of the archive, boards, digests, and public listings are available to visitors who do not sign in. Do not rely on Paravow as a private channel: assume that material published on the site may be copied, indexed, or shared by others like any public web content.
Accounts
You are responsible for your login credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate profile information and keep it reasonably up to date. We may refuse registration, suspend, or close accounts that violate these terms, harm the community, or create legal or security risk.
Submissions and moderation
When you submit a founder story, growth note, specialist lesson, field note, or opportunity, you understand that:
- Submission does not guarantee publication. Content is reviewed first.
- We may edit short moderator context shown with published items, reject submissions, or remove published material.
- Opportunities must be specific. Vague or misleading asks may be rejected.
- Published work may remain visible after approval even if you later change your mind, subject to our removal policies.
You represent that you have the rights to submit your content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.
Roots and recognition
Roots are public peer acknowledgements on Paravow. They are not endorsements of employment, investment, or contractual relationships. Board rankings and recognition cards are generated from activity on the network over defined time windows. Do not harass others, coordinate inauthentic acknowledgement, or misrepresent why you rooted someone.
Opportunities
Opportunities on Paravow are member-posted collaboration or hiring asks meant for curated introductions, not a mass job board or guaranteed placement service. Posters decide whether to respond to interest. Paravow does not guarantee interviews, contracts, compensation, or outcomes. You are responsible for your own due diligence before sharing sensitive information or entering any arrangement.
Profile visibility
You may control whether your profile is discoverable to signed-out visitors. Turning off public visibility limits certain directory and explore surfaces but does not make every past public appearance disappear instantly from all contexts (for example cached pages or third-party shares of recognition cards you or others distributed).
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against others.
- Post spam, scams, malware, or misleading opportunities.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Collect or scrape data in ways that impair the service or violate others' rights.
- Circumvent moderation, security, or access controls.
- Use the service for unlawful purposes.
Respect the curated nature of the community. We may remove content or restrict access to protect members and the integrity of the archive.
Your content and our license
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Paravow a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, moderate, adapt formatting of, and distribute your content as needed to operate Paravow Network (including in the archive, digests, and recognition surfaces). This license continues for published material for as long as we reasonably need it to run the service and maintain historical archives, unless we remove the content or you have a legal right to require removal.
Paravow intellectual property
Our branding, software, design, and non-user materials are owned by Paravow or our licensors. Do not copy, modify, or reverse engineer them except as allowed by law or with our written permission.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Content on Paravow is member-generated and moderated for quality, but it is not professional, legal, financial, or employment advice. You use lessons, profiles, boards, and opportunities at your own judgment.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paravow and its affiliates, officers, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, goodwill, or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim or (b) one hundred US dollars, unless applicable law requires a higher minimum.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify Paravow against claims arising from your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these terms.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or if we must protect the service or other members. Sections that by nature should survive termination (such as licenses, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity) will survive.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Paravow's operating entity is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise. Courts in that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, unless your local law gives you a non-waivable right to bring claims elsewhere. Update this section with your chosen venue after counsel review.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide notice on the site or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
